High Heels Shoes

http://5-inchheels.com/
High heel shoes, or just "high heels", are a type of shoe with an extended heel. The heel is often tapered down from the heel of the foot to the sole of the shoe, but it is not necessarily so. High heel shoes are considered to add elegance to a lady's ensemble.

While in modern times the high heel shoe is specific to the feminine domain, this has not always been the case. High heeled shoes were commonly worn by both sexes during different periods of history. Modern usage of the extended heel has an almost exclusive function of fashion, but having an elevated piece of footwear has proved to be useful to some trades. Horsemen at times have an extended heel to assist their feet in staying in the stirrups, and workers stepping through wet messes on the floor of their workspace sometimes employ high heels to keep their feet high and dry above the moist mess.

Whether in a fashion show, a wedding, or on a cowboy's boot, the high heel has made many appearances at many venues. The benefit of a solid foothold is certainly known by all, but there have been reasons for people to accept the burden of placing a fulcrum under their heel. Location is important, and sometimes feet need to be a little higher than normal.

High Heel Shoes

Although the reflexive and immediate image associated with high heel shoes is not one of function but of form, the principle of the high heel shoe is valuable in more places than a fashion show. Many occupations have had conditions that necessitate a shoe with a larger heel. When a person thinks of high heel shoes, function does not often come to mind.

High heel shoes can most certainly be fashionable though. A thigh high leather boot with an extended heel can indeed send a particular message, if so desired. Likewise, a high heel shoe with a solid color an closed toe can give a different first impression to the beholders. Another insinuation again can be given with straps and an open toe on a high heel shoe.

High heel shoes are not thought of instinctively as flexible and expedient, but when used for accenting an outfit for a particular purpose the high heel shoe can be very efficacious. For the purpose of maintaining balance and comfort, high heel shoes may not be the first choice most would make. However, for the purpose of adding a special touch to an incredible evening ensemble, high heel shoes might just be the ideal choice. With all the options out there, a step up may be what is needed.

Evening Shoes

http://5-inchheels.com/
Evening Shoes are a very important "must have" in every woman's closet. There is a perfect pair of shoes for every woman regardless of age, height, weight or curves. There are simple steps one can take to accomplish this task, for that special occasion.

The first thing to note is that either the dress, one is pairing the shoes with, is the center of attention or the shoes. It cannot be both because it's too much decoration. Unless, of course, they both complement each other. Secondly, One must take one's comfort zone into consideration. For example, if you usually wouldn't feel comfortable wearing 5 inch pumps, well, it is best to stay away from them. Evening shoes come in a lot of different styles. There are the classics, pumps, heel straps and even flats. That is not to say any one of them is more preferable than another.

Makers of evening shoes have really stepped up their game and offer beautiful embellishments and satin fabrics. A third thing to consider is color. Black is a very popular option because it is an elegant color that be matched with different outfits. However, platinum and gold evening shoes are very eye catching. Evening shoes may not be the most comfortable shoes, but they look beautiful (and gel inserts may ease the pain).
